Terms & Conditions

You declare that You are legally capable of entering into an agreement and that all particulars and information provided by You through the Platform are true, accurate and complete.

By accepting these Terms and Conditions, You authorise Gleo to collect Your basic identification and contact information, including Your name, contact number and email id, which You provide voluntarily, to enable Us to identify You as a User and to contact You with more information regarding the Business carried out by Gleo. How We handle Your personal information is described in Our Privacy Policy.

You may browse and discover events, spots and activities on the Platform without creating an account. However, to access certain Services — including saving items, earning or redeeming Gleo Coins, hosting events, RSVPing where supported, and participating in community features — You must register or create a User account (“Account”).

You may register directly or by logging in through a supported social media account (e.g. Google or Facebook). When You use a social login, We receive only the basic profile information You authorise that provider to share.

• By creating an Account, You agree that You are legally eligible to enter into a contract under applicable Indian laws. Users below 18 (eighteen) years of age may only access the Platform and Services with the consent of a parent or legal guardian, who shall be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
• If You access the Platform on behalf of a legal entity, You must have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms and Conditions; otherwise You are personally liable for all obligations herein, including payment obligations.
• You must not use as a User ID any name that is the name of another person (with intent to impersonate), is subject to the rights of another person without authorisation, or is offensive, vulgar or obscene.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of Your credentials and for all activity under Your Account. Gleo is not responsible for any loss arising from Your failure to keep Your password secure.
• You shall create only one (1) personal Account, which is non-transferable and non-assignable. Gleo may delete additional Accounts created with the same credentials.

Gleo reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to refuse or cancel registration of an Account at any time and for any reason, and to suspend or terminate any Account where information provided is untrue, inaccurate, not current or incomplete, or otherwise not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.

You may deactivate Your Account at any time, in which case information linked to it will be deleted from Our active database in accordance with Our Privacy Policy. Some information may be retained for compliance with applicable laws, or anonymised and aggregated for analytics, which Gleo may use as it deems fit.

The Platform displays events, spots and activities sourced from event organisers, hosts, public listings and other third-party sources, as well as content submitted by Users. To present this information clearly, listing details (such as titles, descriptions, categories, dates, locations, images and prices) may be summarised, re-written or generated with the assistance of automated and AI-based tools.

• Gleo does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, currentness or reliability of any listing. Details such as timing, location, availability, eligibility and price are set by the relevant organiser or host and may change without notice.
• Before attending, registering for or paying for any event, You should independently verify its details with the organiser or host through the official source linked from the listing.
• Where a listing links to a third-party website (for registration, ticketing or more information), Your use of that website is governed by that third party’s own terms and policies.
• Gleo is not the organiser of third-party events and is not responsible for any incident, accident, cancellation, change or dispute arising in connection with them.

Users may apply to host and list their own events and spots on the Platform (“Hosts”), including through Gleo’s host tools. By submitting a listing, a Host represents and warrants that:

• the listing is accurate, lawful and not misleading, and the Host has the right and authority to organise and promote the event or spot;
• the Host holds all permits, licences and consents required to run the event and will comply with all applicable laws and venue rules;
• the Host has the rights to any content (text, images, logos) submitted, and grants Gleo a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display, adapt, summarise and promote that content on and through the Platform;
• the Host is solely responsible for the conduct, safety and outcome of the event and for honouring any registrations or tickets sold.

Gleo may review, edit, re-categorise, decline or remove any listing at its sole discretion, and may suspend a Host’s access for breach of these Terms and Conditions. Gleo acts only as a discovery and facilitation platform and is not a party to any agreement between a Host and a User.

Gleo, through its Platform, enables Users to: (i) engage in responsible activities across the six pillars of the Platform — Civic, Educational, Health, Social, Economic and Ecological; (ii) earn reward points for engaging in any activity across one or more pillars (“Gleo Coins”); and (iii) utilise Gleo Coins so earned or accrued to avail discounts or vouchers from reward partners. The Platform offers a diverse array of activities to encourage inclusive engagement, personal growth and social contribution.

• Gleo may list responsible or social activities intended for Users to engage in and accrue Gleo Coins (“Volunteer Programs”) with non-profit organisations (“Responsibility Partners”). Gleo is not responsible for the accuracy of information relating to Volunteer Programs, nor for any incidents, accidents or events that may occur during them.
• Some Volunteer Programs or events may have registration fees or ticket prices. Except where payment is processed through Gleo’s integrated ticketing (see “Payments and ticketing” below), payment is handled by the organiser or Responsibility Partner directly, and Gleo does not participate in that flow of funds.

Gleo does not warrant the legality of any bona fide activities of a Responsibility Partner. The Platform facilitates, enables and rewards responsible actions; Gleo is not, and cannot be made, a party to any transaction or dispute between a Responsibility Partner and a User. Gleo Coins have no independent monetary value, are non-transferable, and may be adjusted, expired or revoked in cases of error, fraud or abuse, or on changes to the rewards programme.

You may utilise Gleo Coins to avail discounts or vouchers in relation to goods and/or services offered by reward partners onboarded on the Platform (“Reward Partners”). Gleo, at its sole discretion, determines the discount or voucher available to You based on the Gleo Coins in Your Account.

Gleo is not responsible for the availability of products or services with a Reward Partner, or for the facilitation of payment, dispatch, delivery or after-sale service of those products on a Reward Partner’s website, app or physical stores. Returns and refunds are governed by the relevant Reward Partner’s policy; Gleo may assist in facilitating communication between a Reward Partner and a User but does not handle such refunds or returns.

Gleo does not warrant the legality of any bona fide activities of a Reward Partner, nor the merchantability or fitness of any product or service availed using Gleo Coins. Gleo does not facilitate payment or redemption of any discount or voucher; redemption is done solely at the Reward Partner’s end.

Some events listed on the Platform are paid. Where ticketing is processed through Gleo, payments are collected via a third-party payment gateway (such as Razorpay) and are subject to that provider’s terms and policies. By making a payment, You authorise the relevant charge and agree to provide accurate payment information.

• The price displayed for an event is set by the organiser or host. Applicable taxes, platform or convenience fees, and payment-gateway charges may apply and will be shown before You confirm payment.
• Refunds, cancellations and rescheduling are governed by the organiser’s or host’s policy for that event. Unless stated otherwise, Gleo does not itself guarantee refunds and is not liable for an organiser’s failure to honour a ticket or registration.
• Gleo does not store full card or banking details; these are handled by the payment gateway. Gleo is not responsible for failures, delays or errors of the payment gateway or Your bank.
• You are responsible for any chargeback, dispute or fraudulent transaction made through Your Account.

All information and content available on the Platform and its look and feel — including trademarks, logos, service marks, text, graphics, button icons, images, audio clips, data, news items and links, and the compilation and organisation thereof (“Content”) — is provided for general information only and should not be used as a basis for making any decisions.

Content is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis and, except for User Content and third-party listings, is the property of Gleo, Our affiliates, partners or licensors, and is protected by applicable laws including those governing copyrights and trademarks. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Gleo disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

You may not copy, download, publish, distribute or reproduce any Content without the prior written consent of Gleo. Content on the Platform should not be regarded as an offer, solicitation, invitation, advice or recommendation. Services are available only at the discretion of Gleo and may be withdrawn or amended at any time without notice. Certain functions require an active internet connection; Gleo is not responsible if the Platform is not fully functional due to its absence or insufficiency, nor for any dispute between You and Your internet service provider.

Gleo endeavours to provide a platform for community interaction, where people can exchange views and facilitate social engagement. The Platform enables submissions from Users — with or without a request from Us — including event and spot submissions, comments, ratings, reviews, photos, creative ideas, suggestions and other materials, whether on the Platform, by email or otherwise (collectively, “User Content”).

User Content is posted by the general public, so its accuracy, integrity or quality cannot be guaranteed, and by using such Services You may be exposed to objectionable matter. We are under no obligation to keep any User Content confidential, to pay compensation for it, or to respond to it.

You agree not to upload, post or transmit any matter that is defamatory, abusive, obscene, invasive of another’s privacy, hateful, or racially, ethnically or otherwise objectionable, and not to engage in cyber-stalking or to create a nuisance for any User. You may not transmit any software virus or files designed to interrupt, destroy or negatively affect any electronic equipment or another User’s ability to use the Platform.

Any User Content is subject to applicable law and may be disabled, removed or investigated. If You are found in non-compliance with applicable law, these Terms and Conditions or the Privacy Policy, Gleo may immediately terminate or block Your access and remove the non-compliant Content, and pursue any remedies available to it.

The Platform may contain advice, opinions and statements of various persons; reliance on these is at Your own risk. It is Your responsibility to independently verify and evaluate the accuracy, completeness, reliability and usefulness of any opinions, services or information on the Platform.

Information on the Platform is provided on the understanding that it is not to be relied on as legal, accounting, tax, financial, investment or other professional advice. Gleo may at any time update, edit, alter or remove any Content, in whole or in part, and is not responsible for any resulting loss, damage or liability. We do not guarantee, represent or warrant that Your use of the Platform and Services will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free.

Gleo does not guarantee, warrant or endorse any product or service advertised or listed by a third party on the Platform, and has no liability for actions You take in pursuance of such an advertisement or listing. Any question or dispute regarding a third-party advertisement, listing or its content should be addressed directly to that third party.

The Platform may contain links to websites of affiliates or related entities, and to external websites controlled by third parties, provided to help You find relevant resources. The contents, products or services offered on such linked websites are not endorsed, verified or monitored by Gleo. Gleo is not responsible for the operators of such websites, the products or services they supply, or their contents, and gives no warranties in relation to them.

You agree to release Gleo and its related entities from all claims, demands and damages, whether actual or consequential, known or unknown, arising out of or relating to any listings, transactions or other use of the Platform.

Gleo grants You a non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable and revocable licence to use the Platform for as long as You respect these Terms and Conditions. All rights relating to the Platform and its functionalities — including copyrights, trademarks, source code, patents and other intellectual property, and all texts, graphics, design and logos (other than User Content and third-party marks) — are the exclusive property of Gleo and/or its related entities.

You agree not to copy, forward, download or share Content without obtaining the necessary rights or permissions from Gleo, and not to abuse Your access and licence to use the Platform.

In addition to other prohibitions in these Terms and Conditions, You are prohibited from using the Platform or its Content to host, display, upload, modify, publish, transmit, store, update or share any information that:

• belongs to another person and to which You have no right;
• is obscene, pornographic, paedophilic, invasive of another’s privacy (including bodily privacy), insulting or harassing on the basis of gender, racially or ethnically objectionable, relating to or encouraging money laundering or gambling, harmful to a child, or promoting enmity between groups with intent to incite violence;
• infringes any patent, trademark, copyright or other proprietary right, or violates any law for the time being in force;
• deceives or misleads about the origin of a message, or knowingly communicates misinformation or information that is patently false, untrue or misleading;
• impersonates another person, or threatens the unity, integrity, defence, security or sovereignty of India, friendly relations with foreign States, or public order;
• contains a software virus or code designed to interrupt, destroy or limit the functionality of any computer resource;
• collects or tracks the personal information of others, or is towards spam, phishing, pharming, pretexting, spidering, crawling or scraping; and/or
• interferes with or circumvents the security features of the Platform.

“User harm” and “harm” mean any effect detrimental to a user or child. We reserve the right to immediately terminate Your access to the Platform for violating any of the prohibited uses.

You agree to protect and fully compensate Gleo, its related entities, licensors, employees, officers and directors from any and all third-party claims, liability, damages, expenses and costs (including reasonable attorney’s fees) caused by or arising from Your use of the Platform or Content, Your violation of these Terms and Conditions or the Privacy Policy, or Your infringement (or infringement by any other user of Your Account) of any intellectual property or other right of anyone.

GLEO AND ITS RELATED ENTITIES, THEIR DIRECTORS AND EMPLOYEES ACCEPT NO LIABILITY AND WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY LOSS OR DAMAGE ARISING DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY (INCLUDING SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, PUNITIVE OR EXEMPLARY LOSS, DAMAGE OR EXPENSES) FROM YOUR USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE, THIS PLATFORM OR ANY LINKED SITE BY ANY PARTY, HOWSOEVER ARISING, INCLUDING ANY LOSS, DAMAGE OR EXPENSE ARISING FROM ANY DEFECT, ERROR, OMISSION, INTERRUPTION, FAULT, MISTAKE OR INACCURACY WITH THIS PLATFORM, ITS CONTENTS OR ASSOCIATED SERVICES, OR ANY INACCESSIBILITY OF THE PLATFORM OR ANY PART THEREOF, EVEN IF THE ENTITIES ARE ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES, LOSSES OR EXPENSES.

The Platform and these Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the applicable laws of India, unless stated otherwise. All disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms and Conditions or use of the Platform shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.

Gleo reserves the right to change the information provided on or via the Platform, including these Terms and Conditions, or to charge for its Services, at any time and without notice. You are encouraged to review these Terms and Conditions periodically for changes. Gleo is not responsible for any loss, damage or liability arising from such changes.

Gleo or its related entities may, at any time and without the need to give a reason, notice or compensation, suspend Your ability to use the Platform. Suspension or cancellation of the licence to use the Platform means You will no longer have access to Your data, without recourse against Gleo or its related entities or affiliates.

Gleo also reserves the right to suspend access to any Account or to the Platform where, in its sole discretion, it considers that You are in breach of these Terms and Conditions or any applicable law, or where it foresees such a breach.

You confirm that any information provided or submitted by You, or any details entered into the Platform, are accurate and correct, and You undertake to pass on any modifications to Gleo. You undertake not to provide any information that is misleading, false, defamatory, disparaging, discriminating or obscene.

You shall indemnify and hold Gleo and its related entities harmless against any loss, damage or cost suffered or incurred as a result of any erroneous information supplied by You.

Unless otherwise specified, these Terms and Conditions together with the Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement between You and Gleo with respect to the Platform and supersede all prior or contemporaneous communications and proposals, whether electronic, oral or written. A printed version of these Terms and Conditions, and of any notice given electronically, shall be admissible in judicial or administrative proceedings to the same extent as other business records.

Gleo shall not be deemed to have waived any right or remedy unless such waiver is in writing. No delay or omission in exercising any right or remedy shall operate as a waiver, and a waiver on one occasion shall not bar the exercise of rights on future occasions.
